How It Works

What services does Grouport Offer?

How It Works

Grouport Offers Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, & Teen Therapy. One's treatment plan often consists of multiple types of therapy combined together, so for example it's common to do group + individual therapy together, and the cadence of how many sessions one would like to partake in on a weekly basis varies by person and in accordance with their needs. Lastly, if you are partaking in multiple therapy options or multiple sessions simultaneously, we offer special bundled rates.

Where are sessions held?

How It Works

All our therapy options are teletherapy, and are held virtually. All sessions whether group, individual, couples, family, or teen therapy, meet over video chat at a recurring time slot on a weekly basis that works for your schedule.

How long are group sessions?

How It Works

Each group session is 60 minutes.

What is the initial consultation?

How It Works

For some of our groups, an initial consultation is required before you join your first group session. You'll know if this is applicable, if it prompts you to schedule a consultation after signing up. If this is the case, then the initial consultation is the first step after you sign up. It is a 20-minute, one-on-one assessment led by a trained mental health professional. The consultation helps us understand your unique situation to ensure we match you with a group that best suits your needs.

How frequent are group sessions?

How It Works

Sessions are conducted once a week, at the same time each week.

How many people are in a group?

How It Works

Groups contain a maximum of 12 members, and we add people to your group until it reaches full capacity.

In addition to these members, all groups are led by a licensed therapist who specializes in the group’s needs.
