Frequently Asked Questions

Grouport's groups cost $35 per week, billed at $140 (e.g. $35/session x 4 sessions/month) at the start of each monthly billing cycle.

Grouport's dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills group costs $25 per week, billed at $299 (e.g. $25/session x 12 sessions) for an initial 12-week billing cycle, and then billed at $100 (e.g. $25/session x 4 sessions/month) at the start of each monthly billing cycle thereafter.

If you are in a general group, your card will be billed $140 at the start of each monthly billing cycle. If you are enrolled in a dialectical behavior therapy skills group, you will be billed $299 for an initial 12-week billing cycle. After your 12-week billing cycle ends, you will be billed $100 at the start of each subsequent monthly billing cycle thereafter.

We do not take insurance at this time. For some groups, we can provide you with an invoice every billing cycle, which you can submit to your insurance provider to receive out-of-network reimbursement for our services. The reimbursement amount will vary depending on your insurance provider's policies, so you should check with your plan. However, we've found that most insurance provider's will reimburse at least 85% of the cost of our groups.

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

If your group sessions occur within our member portal:

To cancel your subscription, you can do so under the 'manage subscription' tab in your member portal. Members who have access to their sessions through our member portal, must complete the process for their account to be canceled until they receive a confirmation email confirming "You've successfully canceled your membership." Our system will only recognize your account canceled if you complete this process; otherwise, the subscription will remain active. By doing so, you will stop receiving services at the end of your current billing cycle.

I‍f you're group sessions do not take place in our member portal, and they take place through weekly session links emailed to your inbox, then to cancel please email support@grouporttherapy.com and they'll send you a form to complete to cancel your membership. Only after submitting that form, will your membership be recognized as canceled; otherwise, the subscription will remain active. By doing so, you will stop receiving services at the end of your current billing cycle.
