Editorial Team

The Grouport Editorial Team is made up of experienced writers, editors, and licensed mental health professionals who share a deep commitment to making quality mental health information accessible to everyone. Our team brings together diverse backgrounds and specialized training across clinical psychology, therapy, and health communication.

We hold ourselves to high clinical standards. Our editorial guidelines are grounded in the DSM-5—the same diagnostic manual used by therapists across the United States. Our content goes through a rigorous process of writing, editing, and clinical review.

We also pay close attention to the details that matter: selecting images that are inclusive and compassionate, writing alt text for readers using screen readers, and regularly revisiting published content to incorporate new research and ensure ongoing accuracy.

Since launching the Grouport Journal in 2019, we've built a library of thousands of articles covering a wide range of mental health topics—from anxiety and depression to DBT skills and relationship issues. Our team continues to review and update this content to ensure ongoing accuracy. Our goal is simple: provide reliable, evidence-based information for people who are looking for support and answers.
