Is This Right for Me?
Whether you are stepping up, stepping down, or building a holistic treatment plan from scratch, this is designed to meet you where you are.
Stepping Up
You have been doing weekly therapy but want more. Add a group for accountability, a second individual session to go deeper, or build a combination that fits. More than once a week, less than a full IOP. The flexible middle ground.
Stepping Down
You are leaving a higher level of care but still need intensive, structured support. Traditional IOPs refer you out when the program ends. With Grouport, you step down in-house at whatever pace feels right.
Holistic Care
You want the personal deep work of 1-on-1 therapy and the peer connection and accountability of a group. Over 60% of our group therapy members are also in individual therapy because together they produce the strongest outcomes.
Complex Needs
Your needs cross multiple areas. Maybe you want a trauma group, individual DBT for emotion regulation, and a separate individual therapist for trauma processing. You can build that here.
Flexible Intensity
Symptoms ebb and flow. You want the ability to step up during hard periods and scale back when things stabilize, without losing your therapists or starting over somewhere new.
Budget-Conscious
Every session you add costs less. Additional groups run $23/session instead of $32 (~30% off). Additional individual sessions run $92/session instead of $103 (~10% off). The more you build, the more you save.
Most therapy platforms offer either group therapy or individual therapy as separate, standalone services. At Grouport, we designed group and individual therapy to work together because that is how people actually get the best results. Over 60% of our group therapy members also participate in individual therapy, because the two formats serve fundamentally different needs, and together yield the most effective outcomes.
In individual therapy, your licensed therapist tailors every session to your specific condition using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), among others where relevant. In group therapy, you gain connection, shared perspective, and accountability from peers navigating similar challenges. Together, they form a complete care plan that addresses both the private work and the relational growth that lasting change requires.
What makes Grouport different from traditional intensive programs is flexibility. You choose your groups, your therapists, and your intensity. You can attend a trauma group and a depression group in the same week while working with an individual therapist on DBT skills. You can adjust your plan up or down at any time, stay in care as long as it helps, and never get referred out. You can continue working with the therapists you find helpful for as long as you wish. There are no rigid program structures, no fixed timelines, and no sessions that do not directly serve your needs.
